About the Yin Yang symbol
The Yin Yang symbol is important in conveying my intent in yoga and massage therapy, in life. It represents ALL, the entire universe, everyone and everything, manifest and unmanifest, the creative and receptive, sun and moon, light and dark, hot and cold, male and female, expansion and contraction, breathing in and out, movement of life, the Tao. It represents equipoise, absolute balance. The yin yang symbol is said to have first appeared in the I Ching, the Book of Changes.
