Steve provides patient, individualized attention to a student's personal goals. Class is tailored to meet those needs. And it is never boring. New poses are introduced and there is a lot of variety in the warm-up.

Raja Yoga is the full 8 - limbed path of the classic yoga written in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, approximately 2200 years ago. I am also integrating into the Raja Yoga classes what I have learned in over 30 years of experience in Yoga, with elements from Tai Chi, Dance, Theatre, Music, Climbing, Massage Therapy, and other disciplines/arts. This can be summarized as the full integration of mind/body/spirit/emotions, graceful, powerful movement with full awareness for Supreme Wellness and Power of Performance.
By devoted practice to Raja Yoga, you will
improve your physical appearance, energy level, and state of health.
Progress will be apparent from the very first day.
The result of the practice of Raja Yoga is the state of Kaivalya (total
freedom).
Guidelines for the practice of Asanas.
No food two to three hours before asana practice. No liquids 15 minutes before asana practice (but hydrate thoroughly with pure water before class. It's OK to drink water during class if you must. This is for your comfort during yoga class.
Yoga mat or blanket is helpful but not necessary, depending on the surface. I don't use props because I want to be free to do yoga anywhere. For the gym classes, please bring a yoga mat and blanket.
